“Torrin” is Gaelic for ‘little hills’. We thought it was a lovely way to describe our tomme style cheese, as our farm sits atop a little hill. When this cheese is young, 4-6 months, it has a buttery texture that is oh so creamy in the mouth. As it ages, a lovely nuttiness prevails. It is our favorite cheese for beefy dishes like French Onion Soup.
Ingredients: Certified organic not pasteurized whole milk, microbial rennet, cheese cultures, salt.
Natural rind, aged a minimum of 4 months.
